81 Sitting Still
At the South Shrine, sitting still in front of an incense burner,
I am serene all day, have not a thought.
Not that I am blocking the mind or purging the false thoughts,
Just that there is not a thing I could ponder.

(COMMENT: Sitting still, sitting still, sitting still. Try sitting still even
when you are lying, sitting, standing and walking. Try sitting still even
when you are talking, singing, thinking, and writing. Try sitting still for a
day, and then every day. Words don’t help very much; sitting still helps
a lot.)
