TỪ ĐIỂN TRIẾT HỌC HEGEL - Trang 612

Dialogue on Poetry and Literary Aphorisms, translated by E. Behler

and R. Struc (University Park and London: Pennsylvania State University
Press, 1968), contains many of Schlegel”s fragments.

Friedrich Schlegel”s Lucinde and the Fragments, translated by P.

Firchow (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1971), supplies a
fuller collection of fragments, including many by A. W. Schlegel, Novalis
and Schleiermacher.

German Aesthetic and Literary Criticism: The Romantic Ironists and

Goethe, edited by K. Wheeler (Cambridge University Press, 1984),
contains short pieces by the Schlegels, Novalis, Tieck, Solger, Richter and
Goethe.

C. F. WOLFF

Few of C. F. Wolff”s numerous works are translated. The flavour of

his writing is adequately represented by his Preliminary Discourse on
Philosophy in General
(1728), translated by R. J. Blackwell (Indianapolis:
Bobbs-Merrill, 1963).
